Eric Richmond

Eric Richmond - Studio Portraiture, Classical Music and Theatre Photographer

Eric Richmond was raised in Italy and has worked in London as a photographer since 1984.

His ability to uniquely catch a mood which is both eye catching and thought provoking ensures a richness to his imagery which is both recognisable and highly collectable. As he would say “The most valuable asset a photographer has is their own identity, it’s unique so push it out there”.

He specialises in imagery for theatre and dance companies as well as shooting for music labels magazines and orchestras.

“My way of working is about giving a client what they want, so that their specific marketing idea is met, but in a way that they didn't know possible.”

A quick look at some of the following images (Sergei Polunin, Flawless, the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Shlomo Mintz, Clint Eastwood, Darcey Bussell, Ute Lemper, Courtney Pine, Sebastian Faulks, Evelyn Glennie and Yo Yo Ma) will amply illustrate why Eric is regularly commissioned by international artists and leading arts organizations to be their photographer of choice.

The Musee des Arts Decoratifs in Paris, and the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Montréal hold some of Eric’s work in their collections.
