Boosey & Hawkes classical music picture collection
The Boosey & Hawkes Photo Collection consists of 2000 images, spanning the past 100 years and including historic images of composers, opera and ballet. Featured composers published by Boosey & Hawkes range from Elgar, Rachmaninoff, Stravinsky and Shostakovich to leading contemporary figures such as Steve Reich, John Adams and Harrison Birtwistle. Photos of historic stage productions include Strauss's Der Rosenkavalier, Britten's Peter Grimes and Stravinsky's ballets in collaboration with Balanchine.
