Stephen Moreton Prichard theatre photographic archive

Stephen Moreton-Prichard was the Greenwich Theatre’s front-of-house photographer from 1969 until 1984. During that time he photographed Mia Farrow and Charles Dance in Chekhov's Three Sisters, Glenda Jackson, Susannah York and Vivien Merchant in Genet's The Maids as well as early career performances from Nicholas Lyndhurst, Penelope Wilton, Kenneth Branagh and Lynn Redgrave.
Play premieres included Alan Ayckbourn’s Table Manners, Living Together, Round and Round the Garden (Michael Gambon, Felicity Kendal, Penelope Keith, Tom Courtenay), John Mortimer’s Voyage Round My Father (Mark Dignam, David Wood) and Julian Mitchell’s Another Country (starring a young Rupert Everett).

Stephen’s natural eye gave him the artistic flair, and his professionalism delivered the shot.
