Allan Titmuss

A renowned Jazz and Contemporary Music photographer Allan was responsible for most of the music photography for The Guardian and the Observer newspapers from the mid 1980s. He was a regular photographer at the main music venues including Ronnie Scott’s, London Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, the ICA and the Jazz Festivals. His theatre photography includes productions by the Royal Shakespeare Company and National Theatre.

Allan’s work has been used on many CD covers including Wynton Marsalis and Keith Jarrett as well as front covers for Nina Simone and Miles Davis biographies.
